Wall of Love

I had a wonderful and much-needed break at Crewe Hall, which is a fantastic hotel with great facilities and really kind and helpful staff. This came at just the right time, as there had been an intensive period of caring responsibility on top of a recent family bereavement. The period of relaxation at the hotel has enabled me to reset my focus. I would like to thank Carefree and the management and staff at Crewe Hall for the wonderful break I had.

The break was important as I sometimes feel pressured with my caring responsibilities. Some ‘me’ time was very exciting, and the facilities and staff at the Village Hotel Blackpool made the experience wonderful. I was able to swim in the outdoor pool, which was relaxing and an absolute treat.

The break was something I had looked forward to for a few weeks. I went to the hotel with my daughter and three-year-old granddaughter. The staff welcomed us as soon as we arrived. They explained all the times for the spa and restaurant, then gave us our room number and keys. Soon after getting settled in, we went for a swim and used most of the facilities in the spa. It was so relaxing -something I needed. Later, we went into the restaurant and had a meal in a lovely, relaxing restaurant. Again, the staff were lovely and welcoming. Nothing was too much for them. Overall, the break was a lovely, relaxing time. Thank you ❤️

I had been feeling really low, and my break away gave me time out to be me and not just a carer. It was pure relaxation and gave me a real sense of wellbeing, as well as the confidence to have more “me time” in the future. It truly was a blessing. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, and the spa and food were exceptional. I would love to visit again. Thank you so much, Carefree

I went to a relaxing hotel with good leisure facilities. It was great to recharge my batteries and not have to worry about my Mum for a day or two. Hotel was friendly, comfortable and the food food was spot on. Thank you to all concerned.

I would like to thank you for making it possible for me to have such a relaxing break. I have really enjoyed my stay at the Mill hotel. The hotel was perfect and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, which made the break so easy to relax. I also got to spend time with my daughter, which was wonderful, I feel recharged. Thank you very much indeed as hotel was fab - swimming pool, jacuzzis, steam, sauna, fitness classes, lovely breakfast and super staff. Would love to go again! 1st night away in 21 yrs without autistic son. Thoroughly enjoyed the break, this is a much needed service for carers, well done for providing this. It's amazing! ❤️

I am extremely grateful to you and it was wonderful because the hotel had a pool and jacuzzi and sauna which I really enjoyed. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff were lovely and the bed was comfortable. Thank you so very much

It was my first stay in a hotel, as well as my first time visiting a local beauty spot. I had not heard of Carefree before they partnered with my local council-funded carer service; the co-operation and generosity between them and the hotel can't be praised enough. The break gave me some unexpected breathing space and mobility.

It was really lovely to have some me time and leisure time . I took my sister and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time . Lovely room , staff , pool area . Had a relaxing evening meal . Restaurant was a bit pricey but considering the room and buffet breakfast was free it was therefore more affordable. Didn’t want to leave ! Thank you again xx
