Wall of Love

The Carefree break was very important to me because it gave me the opportunity to take some time away from the usual pressures and responsibilities of everyday life. It allowed me to relax, recharge and enjoy some quality time away without having to worry about everything at home. The break made a real difference to my wellbeing. I came back feeling more refreshed, positive and able to cope with things. It was lovely to have the chance to simply enjoy a change of scenery and make some happy memories. I would also like to say a big thank you to the hotel (Sun Hotel) and all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the effort they made to make our break special. It was a wonderful experience and one I will remember fondly.

Our break was really important because we needed some time to relax, reset, and step away from everyday pressures. It gave us the chance to properly rest and enjoy a peaceful change of environment, which made a real difference to how refreshed and recharged we felt afterwards. What made the stay even better was how easy and comfortable everything felt. The room was comfortable, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely attentive and polite throughout. Any issues or questions we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently, which helped us feel looked after and able to fully enjoy our stay. A big thank you to everyone at Cromwell Lodge Hotel for making our visit such a pleasant one. Your kindness, professionalism, and helpfulness were really appreciated and helped make the break feel even more special.

I stayed at Gonville hotel in Cambridge. It was a very luxurious hotel. They were very accommodating even gave me a free room upgrade. The staff at the hotel were very kind and thoughtful. This break was amazing. I felt so refreshed afterwards. Thank you Carefree for the great opportunity.

It was great to take my daughter away and spend some time together without having to care for my son. Her being the centre of attention is a real rarity, so this is special. The hotel was lovely. The room was amazing and quiet. The hotel staff were great.

This break was really important for my mental and physical health. I’ve been a sole career for my son with disabilities since his dad passed away. This break enabled me to recharge my energy levels, get some much needed sleep and space to do something I enjoyed which is rare for me.

It was great to spend time with my daughter without having to consider my son's needs constantly. It's so important to be able to engage and recognise the impact of having a sibling who requires so much care. Spending time with my daughter like this allowed her to be the sole focus, if only for a short time.

We had a break in central London, which we would never think of doing. But it was exciting and had a fantastic atmosphere. Carefree is a great idea!

It felt like absolute luxury! So grateful to Carefree. As soon as we checked in, the hotel staff were attentive and subtly supportive. I mentioned how lucky we felt being here and they reassured me, saying 'enjoy your Carefree break' (It really is an excellent name and describes the feeling throughout our mini-break). Excellent hotel, fantastic staff - attentive. I felt very humbled to see how hard they work but this helped me give myself a pat on the back, acknowledging to myself that I am always on alert in my caring role. This was a pause from that role. A massive, thank you, to Carefree.
