I am newly married and didn't have a honeymoon due to many things, but my caring role was one of them. So the opportunity to get away with my husband and forget about my responsibilities was just what I needed. I had been feeling completely overwhelmed, and each day was like trying to wade through treacle. Now, it's better - it's not perfect, but it's better - I can see clearer, be more rational and see the importance of looking after my own mental health! Thank you, Carefree!

My break was important as I was feeling burnt out. It has really helped me recharge my batteries and take time for myself. I would never have been able to afford it otherwise, and I’ve always wanted to visit London. I really did feel lighter when I returned home. I had a great time on my trip. The hotel, Middle Eight, was amazing — a beautiful hotel, very comfortable, with really lovely staff and a great breakfast. Thank you very much.

I really needed a break. My health is poor, and things were getting worse. The hotel welcomed me and everyone was interested. They couldn’t have been more helpful. It was great to go shopping by myself and visit lovely National Trust places. Very inspiring. Thank you for making it possible.

Our break was important to us as it gave us something to look forward to. It made a difference in as much as getting away from the daily constant repetitive situation. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and kind, the bedroom was very comfortable. I would recommend staying there, it was a good experience altogether.

With the never ending juggling of everyone else’s needs, I was quite tired and low before my break. The hotel was perfect and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I have returned home feeling so much better and valued for the caring role I do. Thank you so much.

I loved the freedom to be able to be me - being able to go to bed earlier and get up later and have breakfast provided. St Giles in London was very welcoming and left a welcome gift in the room.

The hotel was lovely with sea view at dining. The weather was good and we went for long walks. I didn't have to worry about caring for my Dad. It was great to have time away to relax with my husband as we rarely get any time together properly.
